This is an internal review process that tells you where you are, before you can go where you need to. We provide a comprehensive assessment of a company’s policies, practices, and culture to identify areas for improvement in diversity, equity, and inclusion.

We engage with necessary staff, analyze data, and identify gaps to produce practical recommendations. Our recommendations are tailored to address issues such as a lack of representation, inequitable access to opportunities, and outdated policies. We support organizations in implementing and monitoring the effectiveness of these recommendations, promoting continuous improvement.

Our Proven, Step-by-Step Process

1. Intake & Scoping

We meet with you to understand the current workplace culture and set goals for our collective work.

2. Interviews & Review

We conduct a review of current policies, practices, and initiatives, including EDIA goals and strategic plans. We interview or survey staff management and committees to ascertain:

  • workplace culture;
  • how current policies are promulgated (i.e. is staff aware of current policy framework) and enforced (i.e. is there understanding of and adherence to current policies); and
  • where staff and management see opportunities for EDIA in their work.

3. Analysis & Findings

We analyze the data collected to identify gaps, trends, and areas for improvement. This step highlights both strengths and challenges within the organization’s policies, practices, and culture, providing a clear picture of the current state.

3. Reporting & Planning for What’s Next

We present our findings in a clear, actionable report and debrief with leadership and key team members. Recommendations are tailored to address identified gaps and support practical implementation. We also discuss strategies for monitoring and measuring progress over time.
