We are inviting all Black Girls, 12+ for a chill evening to break down budgeting, saving, and smart spending! We are all about making finances feel approachable (and fun!) with real-life tips and activities to help you feel confident about your money.
We are excited to welcome guest facilitator, Takia Panza-Benjamin, a dedicated Financial Consultant, Facilitator, and Broker, as well as the Executive Director of BITASA Society. Takia holds a deep passion for financial literacy and believes that knowledge is power and that financial education should be a right, not a privilege.
Understanding money helps us plan for our futures and drive intergenerational wealth within our communities. Whether you're earning your first paycheck or just want to be smarter with cash, this workshop is for you. This event is free! We’ve got snacks and (S)hero Bags for all. Wear your comfies. Pj’s and slippers are encouraged, but for safe keeping leave your piggy bank at home! We can’t wait to see you.
